Onsite Service

There have been many occasions when we have received a unit in our workshops for repair when there is actually very little wrong with it. ‘Misdiagnosis’ is a costly problem both in time and money, yet it is something that can be avoided with the right technical knowledge and equipment. For this very reason Heavyparts offer wherever possible, an onsite diagnostic service to try and eradicate this problem. Our engineers are well trained in problem solving when it comes to hydraulic systems and circuitry.

The test equipment we use on this service is quite varied, from hand held monitoring meters to computerised digital meters with the ability to print out test results. We have our own designed and developed portable test facility, which enables our engineers to fully flow and pressure test both sections of a twin hydraulic piston pump at the same time. This would include the higher displacement twin piston pumps fitted to most of the larger excavators out in to-days market place. The service offered covers both mobile and industrial applications across a wide spectrum of industry.
